|Fabio Ranghiero approached music at the age of 13, as autodidact, and went on to play keyboards in groups of Italian music. He fell for blues 6 years later, listening to Muddy Waters, and began to study piano blues, inspired by piano players such as Otis Spann and Memphis Slim.
His five-year experience with the BARRELHOUSE gave him recognition in the Veneto blues circle.
In 1995 he began a series of collaborations with other musicians, both of blues and not, (CLAUDIO BERTOLIN, JOHN HENRY, ENRICO CRIVELLARO, etc,).
Such collaborations enabled him to tour Italy for events, shows and festivals. That same year, fascinated by jazz atmosphere and sounds ( as a student with piano players Paolo Birro and Danilo Memoli), and in particular by the sound of Hammond organ, he founded the Hammond trio, a group presenting jazz standards, and began therefore his collaboration with the most acclaimed musicians of Veneto, both in live events and in recording studio.
